Starting June 1st :-)

Hello everyone!

This semester has been crazy busy with classes and getting a second dog and working, but I would just like to announce exactly what I think I will be doing after graduation in May.

I have accepted a job offer with Liberty Mutual in Phoenix, Arizona as part of their Claims Specialist Rotational Program. Below is an excerpt from their job description (in case you are wondering what I will be doing):

As a Liberty Mutual Claims Specialist, you'll put your investigative and analytical skills to work and fulfill Liberty Mutual's mission of "helping people live safer, more secure lives." You will provide service to our policyholders by quickly and effectively resolving their claims. Through the rotation program you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to several Claims functions such as, property, auto, bodily injury, special investigation, and catastrophic events, over three 9-12 month assignments.

Responsibilities:

* Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, legal, and medical professionals
* Perform field investigations using the latest technology
* Collect and analyze details and data to draw sound conclusions
* Travel for catastrophe duty, and facilitate repairs of damaged property
* Participate in our training program to learn about the job and the company, and enhance your performance skills

I am really excited for this opportunity and the growth opportunities within this company.  With that being said, I have started my search for housing in Phoenix and it isn't going as well as I hoped.  I will have both Tido and KC and really really really want a yard and to keep under my budget, so if you have any places within 20 minutes of Dunlap and the I-17, send me a message :-).
