This Week's Highlights!

So I totally got this idea to attempt to do a blog after seeing my cousin's (ANG's) Amazing Blog. I hope that this will be as good as hers, but we will see.

So recently I finished the semester (the end of my 4th year in college) with a 4.0!!!! I have been so busy this semester and I am so proud of my grades. With taking 18 units and working 2 jobs, about 20-30 hrs a week, I am pretty impressed that I was able to get as much out of school and still enjoy my time! Hopefully I will be able to keep it up for this next 2 semesters so I can finish on top!

I came home right after school got out for my little sister's graduation. Kimmy just graduated from Cactus high school and will be attending NAU in the fall. She plans to be doing music and some outdoor recreation degree.

I am really excited for Kimmy! She is going to Philmont this summer to work as a Ranger http://tinyurl.com/692xst,. If you don't know what philmont is, it is basically a family boy scout camp, that is on over 137k acres in New Mexico. I think that she is really going to have a blast working there before she goes off to school in the Fall.

This is an older pic of her from this last New Year's on our family vacation (cory had been holding my camera cord hostage for the last 4 months so we will see when I will finally be able to put up more recent pics :-P ).

so anyways, Thursday night kimmy graduated and it was a good family time. We went to the ceremony at the Glendale Stadium (i don't really remember the name for it right now) and ended up sitting with my boyfriend, Cory and his family. Cory's brother, Jon, was also graduating. My aunt, Gloria, who I love so very much :-) flew in for Kimmy's graduation! It was fun doing a little shopping (if you don't know, that's what gloria and I do together) and just spending time with her. This summer, cory will be working in Simi Valley, which is about an hour North of where Gloria lives. He said that he will be visiting her and I surely will be flying in to spend the weekend with Cory and hang out with my aunt and all her family.

This pic is from a while ago. It was taken right after I got back from Australia (so in August 2008) in LA. My mom is on the left, with my cousin's daughter, Izzy, in the middle and my aunt Gloria on the Right. Hopefully I will be seeing Gloria and her family more over the next few months when go to visit Cory in Simi Valley!
