June 30th: My 22nd Birthday! This was just a good day. I had to work, but I really didnt mind. My mom sent me flowers at work and Cory sent me a package that I was able to look forward to. I went to dinner with some of my favorite people at Trattornia Pina. It was delicious.
July 4th: For this Independence Day, I took a trip to Sunsites, AZ with one of my bestest, Candace and her family. It all started at 1am on the 4th and ended at 10pm. It was a hella good time. We came for the town's annual softball tournament. We ended up getting 2nd place, but that was only because we didn't play multiple games between each team. We only played one and we lost to the team we played at 8am. We just aren't morning people :-P
July 24th: Cory visited me :-) for the weekend and I didn't take too many pictures. We spent a lot of time with Cuba (Julia's Dog) and setting up our apartment. Cory is such a trooper going with me to target, home depot, walmart, anna's linens, target, home depot, target... lol.
Cory is the bomb!
Cory is the bomb!
Here were my two house guests for that amazing weekend:
Cuba!!! and my Love: CORY!!!
While Cory was in town, we went wine tasting with Cal and Hilary at Pastiche. Every Friday, during the summer (I wonder if they do this during the school year too), pastiche has wine tastings from 5pm-615 for $5!!!
5 wines for $5. It's a good time.

Cory has come and visited me twice this summer :-) On this visit, we got a little obsessed with the food network and their cake design challenges. Have you ever seen IRON CHEF???

That show is ridiculous! It is so intense. I feel like someone's life is on the line from the way the announcer talks. The whole experience was pretty hilarious. You have to experience it once.
Saturday, August 1st: I came home to phoenix for this last weekend to spend time with my family and get some things done. One of the main things was to get my hair done again. We attempted and succeeded in coloring, highlighting, and cutting (well to 3/4) all the heads pictured below in 5 hours!
Andrea, my Mom, Me (that pink shirt doesnt look too hott), and Terri (the board certified one) is teaching us how to do highlights on her hair.
Andrea doing her mom's hair! Shes pretty pro. I'm still working on my skills at making the foils tight enough.
Me with Andrea and Brian.
Andrea and I have almost identical taste in food. I love it!
