Then Saturday Cory and I spent the morning cleaning up my place, after which Cory, John, Kenny, and I spent some time "chopping" some delicious ingredients for my:

My Salad Bar: So since being a chopped-enthusiast, I have high expectations for salads. which is why I had a salad bar for my party. I had 3 types of lettuce, romaine, spinach, and a mix of red and green leaf lettuce. As far as choppings go:
I had about 28 toppings available! I only had 4 types of dressings, but I knew my crowd would love them.
The Pull Up Bar! Cory and John have started a new work-out routine called P90X. I don't know much about it but I do know that he uses this bar daily. It was quite the crowd pleaser at the party with pretty much every guest trying to do as many pull-ups as possible. And the winners are:
1. Justin with 11
(he probably could have done more but we stopped him)
(he probably could have done more but we stopped him)
2. Austin with 8
3. And I don't remember the rest from here, but I do know my dad was able to do 4, which is pretty impressive. My mom even attempted to do one :-)
AWW!!! Look at how they match! Cory and Cal, both in blue striped polo with khaki cargo pants and brown flip flops.
In my 2nd bedroom/guest room/office! I put the futon given to my by Cory's family in here to create some additional seating, this was more of an action shot with my dad and mom on the left side of the picture talking with my step-grandmother Keiko, my grandfather Jim and my uncle Tim.
Here is Mirtha and her son Christopher
Alexi & Mirtha eating on my new table! this has a pretty decent shot of my kitchen too :)
my new couches: with John & Kenny :-)
Look at my boys KC and Cory!
Here is my Uncle Tim, Cousin Christopher, Aunt Mirtha, and Cousin Alexi!!
Sunday: LAKE TRIP with Cory, John, Hilary & Cal
This is the before picture- There was no after picture because I haven't felt good enough to take one. Both John and I got sunburnt pretty bad. I didn't ask John if I could post this, but here is a picture of him from today:
OUCH!!!!!
After the lake, some yummy:
and a small nap, I went with Cory and John to see:
GREAT MOVIE!! I was pretty exhausted from being on the river most of the day, so there were a few confusing parts to me, but overall it was a very well-made movie and I will hopefully be seeing it again in the future.
